    Hi Tyler

“Not only is the accommodation at Hilton Maldives Resort expensive, the meals at Ithaa are too, from $120 to $150 for the lunch menu and $220 to $250 for the dinner menu. But then again, people who usually stay at the hotel can afford such luxury. ”

It seems very wrong to post this without citing where it is, and if the photos are yours or come from some originating site.

I want to manifest a trip to this place.

  15. vp @ May 5th, 2007

Lovely, looks very relaxing. Something about a mass of water that makes you feel very much at peace. Mind you I could quickly have second thoughts if I spot a shark giving me an evil stare.

That’s really amazing. I wonder if the restaurant is funtional and what kind of food that place serves.

  17. itStu.com @ May 5th, 2007

That is something really cool. I wonder what they do for ventilation to keep it from getting muggy and having the windows fog up etc.

I drew up plans for an underwater tent once…

  18. Venkataramanan S @ May 5th, 2007

Awesome. What really caught my attention are the lights - they are contemporary.

  20. Steve @ May 6th, 2007

What a lovely way for effete bourgeoisie to eat while 20% of the world starves.

  21. LittleRed22 @ May 6th, 2007

Awesome! Never seen a restaurant like that before. Would love to go there! By the way “What is on the menu?” lol

  22. mr. mr @ May 7th, 2007

It still amazes me that we are able to spend all this money on entertaining our robotic, souless, masses yet we still have a global starvation problem.

Education is the key to the starvation problem. Education for the starving on how to farm their own food, and education to the fortunate billions that can help educate the starving.

    Amazing.

  23. Matt Bennett @ May 8th, 2007

Thats sweet. I wonder how many people order fish :P
    Just dont seem rite LOl

the kitchen is a fair stones throw away too….

  24. sheri l freeman @ May 9th, 2007

Very cool! I’m sure the costs for operation & maintenance justify the prices. Great gift for the people who have everything!
