The digital photography and printing give life to captured image but for this one need proper photography tools as well as one should also be equipped with beautiful photos skills. If you want to give some natural background affects mountain, jungle, beach or snow in your pictures then backdrops are perfect for such kind of pictures. And if you are using it on stage then stage lighting equipment like spotlight can enhance its effects. If you want to capture the background with complex light effects then dual photography concept plays an important role in enhancing the image. One of another photography tools are multimedia projectors; these are used for different purposes such as carrying out business presentations and classroom instruction. These all photographic tools have special casing like camera cases which protect them from damage.

  14. Becca @ September 1st, 2007

Holy Crap! I had this same idea a few years ago, however after thinking about the repetitiveness of the actual EXECUTION of the project, I decided against it. Damn.

  15. Becca @ September 1st, 2007

…I was trying to come up with an excuse for banging nails into the wall of my old apartment at all hours of the day to piss off my a-hole neighbors. “Making Art” sounded like a good one to me! LOL

  16. begoodbe @ September 2nd, 2007

wowwww…That was really amazing…that guy really cool..

  17. a @ September 2nd, 2007

I’d like to see more of his art.

  20. Eden @ September 4th, 2007

Wow. It’s amazing. Where does he get all those nails and toothpicks?! Wouldn’t it be cool if he did a art piece off of Railroad Nails? I would like to see that. OR SPOONS! that’d be cool! hahaha

  21. U Kiddin'? @ September 4th, 2007

U call that art??? First of all, it’s been done before!!! Second, he’s just copying other people’s art (That face, which is “one of the most beautiful things”, is a self-portrait of Leonardo Da Vinci!!!) There’s nothing original about it!!!!

  22. ovenbird @ September 5th, 2007

It may not be art, but it is fine craftsmanship. More power to you!

  23. lame? @ September 5th, 2007

umm to “u kiddin?”–all art is recycled and done before. it doesn’t sound as if you know anything about art theory or process and i’m sorry that you didn’t take this visual opportunity to learn. boo hoo.

  24. peaches22 @ September 5th, 2007

great patience. I know his wrist must hurt. It’s amazing and “U kiddin’” yes that is art! Let me see you do that and come to have someone critize your work. You just wish you would have thought of it first!!! I say good jod and more power to you both of you!!! keep up the good work!!

  25. summer @ September 5th, 2007

it may have been done before but come on!! that most of took a hell of a looong time and it looks incredible!! and i wouldn’t mind seeing more of his work too.

  26. bruzer @ September 6th, 2007

Yes, this may not be original art, yes it’s a remake of a self portrait but he’s showing respect to who is obviously one of his inspirations. and the other is just him displaying his talent which I think he has in spades. Kudos man

  27. PENIX @ September 6th, 2007

Anyone have any idea what something like that goes for?

  28. angela collins @ September 6th, 2007

    am in total awe!!!!!!!

  29. lydia @ September 7th, 2007

    no comment
    that s great
i dont care about what others say ….that s the art itself

  30. lydia @ September 7th, 2007

    U Kiddin’? @ September 4th, 2007
U call that art??? First of all, it’s been done before!!! Second, he’s just copying other people’s art (That face, which is “one of the most beautiful things”, is a self-portrait of Leonardo Da Vinci!!!) There’s nothing original about it!!!!

hey you ;i ll be very thankfull if you could tell me what does art mean for you .and between now and then till i read ur comments again i ll bewishing to get up soon .

  31. vicarious @ September 7th, 2007

To the Lydia person. You DON’T have to like it,but you should learn to respect anyones achievement. He has not asked YOUR gratification. He just does what he loves.
Would NOT love to the the “art” not “Art” as you probably can’t afford it, that hangs in your home.
We DON’T need an Art lesson we all know who’s face it is.
If it was YOURS I know WHERE I would place that decisive NAIL that finishes the Artwork OFF.
Wether it’s been done before or not is not the point. There are millions who do OIL paintings of subjects that have been done B4. So go back to what U like and leave us in peace. And for the meaning of Art YOU definitely would not understand as your brain must be the size of a crocodile one. 1cm3..for your information as you write like and think like one. bye4now and ever may U rest in peace ONE DAY.

  32. Pablo @ September 9th, 2007

To Lydia and UKidding? and the rest,

The critics here are only taking out their aggressions to
stir you up. The better argument that you make, the more
Lydia and UKiddng? are going to like it.

Sure they’re annoying, but people like that have no other
apparent joy than to be stupid and malicious and domineering,
which is why people who appreciate not only the definition of
art but the act of creation just piss them off, and so the retaliate. No valid criticisms, just bullying and saying ‘hey, shaddup, you look at me, I’m the one who knows.’ They don’t, because they don’t know how to not be embarrassed by having to make a positive comment. It’s like a cancer on society, except to the degree that society might have contributed to their hopelessness and constant negativity. Utter unawareness as they pick their next fight when the last jolt of electricity from their previous insult victim wears off of their brain(s.)

By the way, the arts and crafts are allied, on a continuum, and no one holds a single definition to what moves people about art.

If it didn’t take more than passable skill then we just buy these at the Wal-Mart like other kind of creations, cheap industrial item they can squeeze off by the hundred in brutal Chinese factories? I suggest the Lydia and Ukiddin take the real acid test and try to create something of equal :0 or better (LOLROLF) quality themselves.

  33. mike @ September 9th, 2007

ok ok art is that which has no purpose other than existence. neither of these things are art, becasue they have other purposes even if it wasnt intended, such as making money, being an exhibit or gaining attention. thaht said, both ARTISTS are awsome and i totally appreciate both of them

  34. Brad @ September 9th, 2007

good job on the detail, it looks amazing.

  35. transit98 @ September 9th, 2007

great art work - I love it-
What is the artist name please?

  36. playful @ September 9th, 2007

    to vicarious,
Maybe you should read things better b4 leaving a post…Lydia was quoting someone (if you had thought about the beginning of her post you may have had a chance to understand that), she also had a prior post giving credit to the artist. So as for where to put the nail that finishes the artwork…..I think it would be hitting a bit closer to your post. Criticizing her writing was another bad choice, at least I *think* thats what you were doing… the lack of correct grammar in yours makes it hard to follow.

As for the art, beautifully done!

i want to reply to “U Kiddin’?” . you have a deep knowledge about art ,don’t you? I think also my grandmother knows that the painting is a da vinci self portrait. Want is amazing and outstanding in this work is the combination of patience , hard work , artist eye . This is admirable!!!

  43. Jes @ September 17th, 2007

  64. Sandy @ February 16th, 2008

Those look like galvanized nails, so they won’t rust; but how cool would it be to watch this age and rust outdoors.
At any rate magnificent work. I especially like where he is eyeballing the nails sunk at varying depths.
